Our system ingests data from over 50 leagues daily — covering form, squad injuries, suspension lists, head-to-head records, home/away splits, and live betting market movement. All data is refreshed within 2 hours of kick-off to account for late team news.
Our Story
GoalVertex was launched in 2019 by a group of football analysts and data scientists frustrated by the state of football prediction sites. The market was flooded with vague tips, hidden charges, and unverifiable "expert" records. We set out to build something different — a platform that combined genuine statistical rigour with clear, readable match analysis, available to every football fan for free.
Seven years later, GoalVertex has grown into one of the most trusted free football prediction platforms on the web, covering 50+ leagues and publishing 200+ tips per day — each one reviewed by our editorial team before it goes live.
How Our Predictions Work
Our proprietary prediction engine uses expected goals (xG) modelling, Poisson distribution for scoreline probabilities, Elo ratings for team strength, and market-adjusted probability weighting. The system outputs probability scores for every possible match outcome — not just win/draw/lose, but scorelines, goal totals, and BTTS.
Every tip produced by our model is reviewed by a member of our analyst team before publication. Analysts cross-check model outputs against contextual factors — cup competition pressure, managerial tactics, weather, and travel fatigue — before writing the match analysis you read on each tip card. No prediction goes live without a human sign-off.
Tips go live on the site each morning with full analysis. Once matches conclude, results are updated in real time — wins, losses, and voids are all logged to our public track record. We never delete or hide losing predictions. Our accuracy rate is calculated across all published tips, not cherry-picked markets.
